If anyone is looking to stay in a beautiful, clean, well kept and welcoming guest house then Bellevue is the one for you. We have stayed here in the past and recently and both times we felt more than welcome. With a fantastic location you are near to all attractions including the beautiful Floors castle. Thanks Graeme,Hilary and staff we had a great stay xx
Lynda Hall LindsayStayed here for three nights and thought it was excellent. The rooms are most comfortable with all you could want – excellent bed, powerful shower, hostess tray, good TV, and free wifi, as well as comfortable chairs. I think considerable care has been taken in the choice of furnishings to fit the age of the house. The breakfast menu is large and caters for all tastes, incl vegetarian. Graham cooks the best poached egg I have ever had – better than I can do myself!
A most enjoyable experience which I hope to repeat in the future
We stayed for two nights with our dog and could not have received a warmer welcome. The room was most comfortable and well equipped, spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was first class, black pudding was best I ever tasted. Graham and Hilary made us feel extremely welcome and provided good local knowledge of the area. Kelso is a most beautiful place and a haven for dog lovers. We dined at The Cobbles a first class pub with wide selection of top quality local food, they also welcomed our dog in the bar. Look forward to returning very soon.
Roy Y, RugeleyI stayed here with a friend for one night after attending a party nearby. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished. The beds are comfortable and the room was warm. The bathroom is small but had everything we needed, I was grateful for the shampoo as I had forgotten mine.
The breakfast was really tasty and there was plenty of choice of cereals and juice aswell as the cooked options.
Graham was very friendly and helpful, giving us directions in case the sat nav went the long way around.
I would recommend staying here and will do again if we go back to Kelso
Katkrazi, South ShieldsHad a great time at the Bellevue this weekend! Graham and Hilary made us feel so welcome and were full of useful information about the local area, before we arrived and during our visit. We experienced great customer service as nothing was too much trouble. The B&B is comfortable, cosy and spotlessly clean. A good range was offered for breakfast which was really tasty. The location is ideal – in a quiet area just a few minutes walk into the centre of Kelso. (Went for dinner at The Cobbles which was really good.) Highly recommend a stay at this B&B!
Jennifer P, EdinburghSince our last stay at the Bellevue the bedrooms have been upgraded, very comfortable new beds – slept like logs after our exertions at the Kelso Ball . We had another very enjoyable stay and reading the reviews opposite I can only concur with the comments made. This is a fabulous B&B, very cosy, spotlessly clean with great hosts Graham and Hilary. The bedrooms in the Bellevue have everything that you need, and it’s famous for its breakfasts – try the local porridge – it’s worth staying there just for the breakfast alone. We weren’t aware that we could have taken our little dog us so that’s a real plus in our book. If you are near in the Kelso area then we would recommend that you book the Bellevue for a stay because you won’t regret it.
